Josie Davis

Josie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actress as well as a writer. Davis began her professional career when she was just three years old. She appeared in many television commercials. At the age of a small girl her character became a frequent guest on Charles In Charge. This was the show with the highest one rated in syndication. Josie received three nominations as well as receiving the prestigious Youth In Film Award to play Sarah Powell. Davis is an adult, has appeared in many TV series and earned Lifetime Movie Network two awards for his work. Davis had the opportunity to enter USC's writing program. She decided to concentrate on acting and took classes with Paul E Richards, who died in 1998, for 20 years. Davis was twenty-four at the time she auditioned for one of the Hollywood elite group, Shelley Winters Mark Rydell Martin Landau. Davis did not have a lot of experience, having only done one audition in the famed Actors Studio with privileges of working there, was then made a lifetime member after a callback. A record number of actors were invited to audition, which made Davis the only two applicants at the time.
